Everything Normal About It: Preparing Students for Hybrid Case Study Competitions
Case study competitions have become an effective method of teaching important leadership, management, analytical and communication competencies to students in healthcare administration. Future healthcare leaders must develop and master advanced communication skills regardless of the interaction environment. Due to the impact of the Covid-19, hybrid modes of case study participation have emerged with some teams presenting and preparing in-person, and others presenting and preparing virtually. This unexpected change in student preparations requires faculty and programs to expand their traditional team competition preparation styles. (
