Thank you for viewing our poster, "Redesigning the Army-Baylor University Program Competency Model & Assessment Tools.” The Army-Baylor Program faculty and staff developed this poster to describe changes in our Program Competency Model and use of assessment tools. In 2021, the Army-Baylor Program redesigned its program competency model to better focus on the target student population, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and address relevant Department of Defense (DOD)/VA changes in the federal healthcare sector. In addition to the updated program competency model, the Army-Baylor Program also added the use of web-based tools to simplify how it captures indirect and direct assessments of student competency attainment. Previous competency model assessment tools were focused on the student experience on competency attainment but did not provide faculty input on competencies at the course level. The updated Army-Baylor Program competency model was designed to improve upon these gaps.
