The Art of Becoming HIP: Implementing High Impact Practices

Line.png

The aim of this poster is to describe our experience with the High Impact Practice (HIP) initiative as endorsed by the Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U). The undergraduate Healthcare Administration (HCA) program at Loyola University Chicago undertook an initiative to strengthen or design each of the HIP’s empirically shown to effect outcomes. We describe our implementation, present outcome data, and recommend strategies for applying the HIP approach to undergraduate learning.
